Occasionally, you may need to factory reset your Linkvil W610W/W611W wireless phone if it gets disconnected from 3CX.

Note: these instructions were made using the W610W. The W611W button layout will be slightly different than the one shown below, but the steps are the same.

Factory Resetting the Phone

Step 1: Turn the Phone Off

Hold down the hang-up button until the "Showdown Now?" option appears, and then click the button under OK.

Step 2: Turn the Phone back on and enter Post Mode

Hold down the hang-up button until the Linkvil logo appears. When the keypad backlight is flashing, press # to get into Post Mode until you get the option below. If you don't get the Post Mode screen, try steps 1&2 again.

Step 3: Enter Factory Reset Code

Dial this code on the Post Mode screen:  *#168

The phone should then reboot on its own back to factory default settings. Follow the steps below to connect the phone to the internet again.

Step 4. Connecting Phone to Wi-fi

Once the phone is reset and on the page shown, press the right button under the screen to enter Menu

You will use the outer ring around the center O button as arrow keys to navigate the Menu.

Navigate to the dark blue Wi-Fi Icon and click the button under OK to enter the wifi settings.

Go down to 4. Avaliable Networks and click the middle button under Enter, scroll down until you find your office Wi-fi network and click the middle button under Link.

We recommend using the arrows to change 1. Password Display from Hide to Display so you can easily see the wifi password you've entered.

After that, scroll down to 2. Enter Password. You will use the number pad to enter the password, similar to texting on a flip phone. For special symbols, use the * or # keys to cycle through them. When done, click the button under OK to join the wi-fi network.

Once it is connected, you will see the green check icon showing it is connected.

You may need to give the IT tech the IP address of the phone to finalize the connection. These values are used to connect the phone to 3CX.
