Items that you will need from their HR:

Full Name
Employee ID

Location/Previous or Similar Employee


Email: 

Microsoft 365 (admin.microsoft.com)
Email is first initial then last name. (I.e. Salman Maqsod would be [email protected])

AD Account:
LPCS1 and LPSC2 are both domain controllers. Create a new account in the OU of theprevious/similar employee.
The username should be their first initial then last name. (I.e. smaqsod) Must enter their email into their AD account info for PaperCut to work properly.


PaperCut:

Log into the PSRVR on Comodo. Navigate to localhost:9191 and log in (u: admin p: admin)


On the left side go to Options -> User\Group Sync -> about halfway down the page click "Sync" on the right side of the page

Go to users -> new user's name -> Scroll down to Other Details -> enter employee ID into Card/Identity Numbers Primary


To add a printer to workstation for a new employee or new PC: 

Most employees will use a Universal Sharp printer that is mapped from the print server and then go to a printer, enter their PaperCut ID, select the job, and then it will print. We can map individual printers but will need to use Sharp software and manually enter the IP.


To add this SharpSecurePrint printer open File Explorer on the workstation and go to the Print Server by name (PSRVR) or IP (172.16.15.240). Then double-click the "SharpSecurePrint" device or right-click and select "Connect" to map it. Set it as the default.
